Throughout the text, she reminds us that we are all humans, at both ends of the phones, on both sides of the counters, just trying to do our best to keep our humanity when the world around us at times seems to have gone nuts. In places, it took about 5 pages to figure out what she was writing about. I was so glad to read the last chapter, as some writers fail to deliver there, but Tregillis pulled it off perfectly.

If you're a fan of alternate history, spies, characters with super-powers, and great writing, read this series for sure.
