Nice guys finish last, but that doesn’t mean they give up the fight. Sometimes it’s necessary to keep trudging through the rain in the hopes of finding a break in the clouds. William Townson is a good person. He’s kind, considerate, and the last thing he ever wanted was to hurt anyone. Accidents happen though, and when they do, all that can be done is to pick up the pieces. For William, this means trying to hold together a stagnant relationship while resisting the temptation of Jason Grant, a young man with eyes just as intense as his love. Only the future can promise redemption for mistakes of the past, forcing William to choose between the Coast Guard and the needs of his heart. Can he find his way through the downpour to somewhere warm and dry? Something like Rain is the latest installment of the Something Like… series, bringing shape to another character’s life while checking in with those from previous books.
Jay Bell led a quiet life in Kansas until the day he met a handsome foreign exchange student named Andreas who swept him off his feet and carried him all the way to Germany. Much to their delight, marriage awaited them when they got there. While living so distant from friends and family, Jay began writing in an effort to reconcile the mixture of devotion and alienation he felt. This resulted in a Lambda Literary Award and a film option for his best-selling novel Something Like Summer. Jay and Andreas have since relocated to Chicago where their adventures continue, as do those of the characters in their emotionally driven Something Like… series. Jay pens the stories and Andreas provides the cover art, making them books about love, forged by love.

The first ~200 pages cover motorcycle technology, back to the first motorized bicycles. Even if you own Montgomery's original book, you need this book.. Richly anecdotal, these five chapters provide rare insights into a few of the great men who changed motorcycling and racing, at almost superhuman levels of effort and commitment.

Cameron's final reminiscences are sheer delight. It's not a straight collection of columns, some are stories that were I'm sure published elsewhere, but were page-turner interesting. First of all, the title is very misleading. Chassis and suspension take four chapters/40 pages, tires three segments/28 pages, one third of the book. In addition, it did nothing to enhance the story or William's character. Well, that is just what we get in TDC 2. Readers no longer have to imagine how th
