Characterwise, Jak does come off rather badly in the first few pages and an incident with Mildred certainly had me raising my eyebrows. 10 Steps teaches us how to put our best foot forward, how to prevent that foot from ending up in our mouth, and what to do in case it does. A+++!. The major complaint I have however is the fact that Overton was never really explained. Guy because he is a professional in job questions.. Even with supernatural forces worrying them both, I just can’t realistically believe it. All in all, this is the best introductory manual on the practice of prayer that I have seen since Anthony Bloom's "Beginning to Pray.". How many times have anyone of us tried to follow directions for an activity or attempted a recipe, only to see that maybe a direction or two was not exactly what we interpreted it to be.
