His theology is sound, his methods unsurpassed. Phoebe called him on his crap. I'm a psychologist by training and could immediately see how what Kelber talks about regarding how an oral gospel and a written gospel affect people differently, reflects how stimuli are processed in these two, very different sensory systems. I lent it from the library and can't find it from any book store. Unfortunately, her 4 year old son was so unruly that I often had to stop the car because he would not sit still in the car. Neither author wishes to return to the past but both authors believe that a middle ground between the academy and the Church must be reached and the key to that endeavor is to look to the past, renew current practices with the best from our Tradition, and more directly relate that renewal
