Buy this book! Linda Eaton has updated one of the most important textile and quilt history texts ever printed. Even if you own Montgomery's original book, you need this book.. All the pictures in the book are now in color. Fantastic Book thoroughly recommend it. Great for a costumer's library. New scholarship has been incorporated that adds significantly to our understanding of these textiles as well. Readers no longer have to imagine how the textiles look- they have recently taken photos to show them
