Chassis and suspension take four chapters/40 pages, tires three segments/28 pages, one third of the book. There wasn't much added content, just the same story told all over again from William's perspective. Luca gives very clear explanations of each channel, along with a very clear diagram of each channel on the body. My only issue with the book is , its not long enough and the paper is cheap. We learn about papyrus and parchment and paper; the invention of movable type, including the lawsuits between Gutenberg and his business partners (he lost) and the role of the alphabet in printing; the development of books sizes, topics, and print runs; paratext and illustration; book banning and copyright; industrialization and computerization; and the reaction of the labor force to change. It seemed to me authoritative, but its citations are a bit skimpy. Through his writings we can, in effect, take in and learn essentially everything we need to know about the men and the machines.
