It's a must have for any library.. Timeless and very classical.. I am a licensed massage therapist for humans and have owned horses for 17 years so it was very basic information for me, although he states it is written for the layman to work on their own horses.. However, Bell has a knack for taking characters you may not have liked in previous books and giving them their own compelling stories. This last book was just repetitive and didn't really add much to the story when it was told the first time. The pictures and illustrations in the book are excellent. Great for a costumer's library. There wasn't much added content, just the same story told all over again from William's perspective. According to Edmund White's excellent preface to this perceptive, unsparing novel, they were his friends and frequent guests yet neither came to his rescue when the critics took the ax to BELCHAMBER.
