Overall, the source material in this book probably makes it worthwhile, but not essential.. I read it in one day, in one sitting, and my only regret is that it's over and there's not another one in the series to pick up yet.
There is so much detail in every important aspect, that it would be impossible to describe how well formed this world became. Maddalena Bearzi wrote the first book in the field of marine mammalogy that truly shows humanity. He's a little rough on the pages, though, so that limits its use. I am sticking with Bette Hagman's Comfort Foods book. I think it would be pretty much impossible to misunderstand something after reading. What gave him the right to tell her what to do for the entire day? For a good guy, MJ was totally bad. Well written.
