Dan Abnett is the Black Library's best selling author with his Gaunt's Ghosts novels being the flagship series. He is a comics industry legend and has penned scripts for such infamous characters as Batman and teh X-Men.
Ha'Penny begins with a mysterious bomb explosion in London, followed by the assignment of Carmichael to the case--the same Carmichael in Farthing, in case you're wondering. It was a great book!. Many of the complaints I had with Farthing seem to have been put in their place with Ha'Penny, because I now get a greater sense of the hopelessness that Walton has created in this alternate past. I purchased this book, as schizophrenia seems to me to be a mystery to to the lay person. Financial Management 101 is not only an on-ramp to understanding, speaking intelligently, and managing by the numbers, but also this book is fairly complete for a new business owner or new manager level. There is a new book about the man I am reading, and so far it is excellent. Perhaps Kevin's next project should be in a visual format. It's clear that I wasn't seeing any ROI because I was inconsistent and had no strategy.
