Angela (Angy) Abreu is a Dominican born New York native raised in Washington Heights. A poet, writer, mom, mentor and community organizer. She has been writing since the age of twelve years old, " I have no room for the broken" is her first collection of poems dedicated to every woman who has fallen in love, fought for love, been betrayed and even rescued by love. The book is not for the faint of heart, it speaks of how love can either destroy or renew you.
It not only guides you as to make yourself realize its not just you but how to pull yourself up and be the better wife and beat any thought of any mistress. However, my beef is with the format of this version. The different castes of both the demons and the angels were interesting to learn about. I can get in to alot of books but this is the book that it gust took a little bit to read it. I imagine DC will release a 4th printing with the correct text placement but if you can't wait try to get a 1st or 2nd printing.. Recently bought this book from Amazon. The pacing was good and the characters interesting. This story struck me on levels I am both ashamed and proud to speak of.
Reading the language and racial slurs in this book were difficult. Like that work, this had the adventures somewhat tangent to the ongoing plot (at least initially).
