Excellent. Brown and Lovett do a nice job of walking down the middle.. Lady death is hot, you can stare at her for a long time but that isnt enough to ignore the horrible story. I truly enjoyed this story. Even the supernatural elements were fantastic, especially the mystery of how Maddy got her powers. His reasons for who he is & why he does what he does, understandable. He's aided in his mission by Gretel, the German "mutant" with the ability to see, and control, the future. I suggest looking at David Legge's (Sydney College Press) publications.. Unfortunately, this library doesn't work, and hasn't been updated for quite some time. So while this review may have a mostly negative tone, do note that I don't hate this book I just think it has a lot of room for improvement.
